I am a husband, a dad (3 daughters), a follower of Jesus Christ, and a writer.
I am a husband, a dad (3 daughters), a follower of Jesus Christ, and a writer. Everything else pales in comparison.
Simply put, I married way over my head. But then isn't that the easiest path to success. My beautiful bride and I have three beautiful daughters. With the three of them at ages 8,9, and 10; I now truly understand the difference between man to man and zone defenses.
"Suzie", the oldest, has an infectious laugh and an honest spirit. When Suzie was six months old, we nearly lost her to bacterial meningitis. As a result of her sickness she has a number of challenges, physically and intellectually. My prayer the whole time she was sick was that God would give her joy in her life. Her laugh is proof that God loves and hears His people.
"Kenzo", the golden haired second born, is our deep thinker. She has thoughts and dreams and concerns and chases intellectual rabbits down trails that I didn't even discover until way after college. Her compassion and empathy are amazing. Oh, and she can knock the snot out of a softball too.
"Mabel" is our "hakuna matata" child. Don't worry, be happy. Not a bad approach.
